The Caribbean Regional Ocean Partnership (CROP) Data Sharing Initiative is an initiative funded by NOAA, through the Caribbean Coastal Ocean Observing System (CARICOOS), to improve data, data accessibility, and data products or platforms, which address coastal and ocean management issues identified in the U.S. Caribbean region.
This CROP data portal was developed to address priority management issues identified through formal consultations. It integrates data products, information, and visualization tools from different sources including Federal and State governments, non-government organizations, and CARICOOS. These products are classified into various categories including Climate Change, Coastal Planning, Emergency Response, Marine Operations, Marine Recreation and Tourism, and Marine Resource Conservation and Management. Data products are easily accessed by category, source, region, tags, or by the search result.
